摘要:
对FLIR公司数字细节增强技术(DDE)进行了分析,认为该技术的处理结果之所以能够清晰显示不同温度背景下的细节信息,源于其对原始14 bits红外图像全局大动态场景信息的合理压缩以及局部小动态温差细节的保留和提升,最终能够在8 bits图像中保留对整体场景有效感知的同时,突出图像可能的目标场景细节信息。并以此为思路,进行了一个热图像动态压缩和细节增强处理实验,相对以往的AGC方法,取得了较好的动态压缩和细节增强效果。
Abstract:
In our opinion, the powerful capability of using DDE to display image with different temperature detail in 256 gray levels originates from reasonable mapping 14 bits thermal image to 8 bits by compressing of global high dynamic range and enhancing of local narrow dynamic range, resulting in perfect perception both of global scene and details, after analyzing DDE technical note. Using it as direction, we perform an experiment upon mapping 14bits thermal image to 8bits. Comparing with traditional AGC method, our experiment exhibit good dynamic compression and detail enhancement.
